What does Isaiah 66:3 mean?
Some people kill an ox for me, but it's like they're killing a person. They sacrifice a lamb, but it's like they're breaking a dog's neck. They offer grain, but it's like they're offering pig's blood. They burn incense, but it's like they're blessing an idol. They've chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in what I hate. (God is saying that empty rituals, without real devotion or obedience, are offensive to him. When people do religious acts but ignore his heart, it's as bad as doing something obviously wrong.)
