What does Leviticus 22:27 mean?
When a calf, lamb, or young goat is born, let it stay with its mother for seven days. After that, from the eighth day on, you can offer it as a gift to me, and I’ll accept it. Leviticus 22:27 - Modern Text Bible
(Animals had to be at least eight days old before they could be sacrificed. This shows respect for life and the natural bond between mother and offspring.)
