What does Lamentations 2:7 mean?

The Lord has turned His back on His altar and abandoned His sanctuary. He’s handed over the walls of Jerusalem’s palaces to the enemy, who shout in the Lord’s house as if it were a festival. Lamentations 2:7 - Modern Text Bible
