What does Judges 19:9 mean?
When the man got up to leave with his concubine and servant, his father-in-law said, 'Look, it's getting late. Why not stay the night again? The day is almost over. Stay and enjoy yourself. Tomorrow you can get up early and head home.' Judges 19:9 - Modern Text Bible
(The father-in-law keeps urging them to stay, using the late hour as a reason, showing both care and a reluctance to say goodbye.)
