What does Judges 18:7 mean?
So the five men left and came to Laish. They saw the people there living peacefully, just doing their own thing, with no one bothering them. They were safe, like the people of Sidon, and they didn’t have any powerful neighbors to threaten them. They lived far from the Sidonians and didn’t have any close allies.
