What does Joshua 5:1 mean?

When all the kings west of the Jordan—those ruling in the hill country, the lowlands, and along the coast near Lebanon—heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan River so the Israelites could cross, they completely lost their nerve. They were terrified and felt powerless to stand against Israel. Joshua 5:1 - Modern Text Bible

(This verse shows how news of God's power spread quickly, causing fear among the local rulers. The miracle at the Jordan convinced them they couldn't stop Israel.)
