What does Jeremiah 40:1 mean?

The Lord spoke to Jeremiah after Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, had released him from Ramah. Jeremiah had been taken there in chains with the rest of the people from Jerusalem and Judah who were being sent into exile in Babylon. Jeremiah 40:1 - Modern Text Bible

(Jeremiah, though a prophet, was swept up with the other captives and brought to Ramah, but God intervenes in his situation.)
