What does Jeremiah 15:19 mean?

This is what the Lord says: If you come back to me, I’ll restore you, and you’ll stand before me. If you speak what’s worthwhile, not what’s worthless, you’ll be my spokesman. They’ll come to you, but you must not go to them. Jeremiah 15:19 - Modern Text Bible

(God calls Jeremiah to stay faithful and promises to restore him if he does. Jeremiah must speak truth, not give in to the people’s ways.)
