What does Jeremiah 14:22 mean?

Can any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Can the sky give showers by itself? Aren’t you the only one, Lord our God? So we put our hope in you, because you’re the one who does all this. Jeremiah 14:22 - Modern Text Bible
