What does Genesis 31:42 mean?
'If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the God who Isaac worships, hadn’t been on my side, you would have sent me away with nothing. But God saw how hard I worked and how you treated me, and last night he made things right.' Genesis 31:42 - Modern Text Bible
(Jacob credits God for protecting him and ensuring justice, saying that without God’s help, Laban would have left him with nothing.)
