What does Deuteronomy 12:27 mean?

Offer your burnt offerings - both the meat and the blood - on the altar of the Lord your God. The blood of your sacrifices must be poured out on the altar, but you can eat the meat. Deuteronomy 12:27 - Modern Text Bible
