What does 1 Kings 14:2 mean?
Jeroboam said to his wife, Disguise yourself so no one will know you're my wife. Go to Shiloh and find the prophet Ahijah, who told me I'd be king. Take him ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey. Ask him what will happen to our son. 1 Kings 14:2 - Modern Text Bible
(Jeroboam tries to get a message from God through the prophet, but he wants to keep it secret, maybe out of fear or shame.)
